How it works
Registration
We closed the contest open to graduate, undergraduate students - individuals and teams (max 5 people) - as well as PhD candidates.
Video submissions
You have time until May 15, 2024. We’ll send you instructions on how to create and deliver your 2-5 minute video.

We’ll notify winners by May 20, 2024. The Award ceremony will take place in Trieste, Italy on June 4-5 during the ESTECO UM24.
What we value
A jury comprising experts from industry and academia will evaluate the entries on the basis of these criteria :
- Complex and advanced engineering design projects.
- Original methodologies and approach.
- Innovative design and focus on sustainability.
- Quality and effectiveness of the video.
- Teamwork and meaningful collaboration.

- 750€ for the best individual entry
- 1500€ for the best team entry
- 750€ for the best PhD entry
