The Math 2 Product (M2P) 2023 - Emerging Technologies in Computational Science for Industry, Sustainability and Innovation is a Thematic Conference of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences. The event takes place from May 30 to June 1, 2023 in Taormina, Sicily, Italy.

The goal pursued by this Thematic Conference is twofold. On one hand, cases of successful interaction between mathematics and industry will be presented. Special emphasis will be devoted to the benefits provided by the transfer of knowledge in different fields of applications, including the social challenges of sustainable development. On the other hand, ground breaking ideas and emerging technologies in computational science will be discussed to foster cross-fertilization of academic solutions and real-world problems.

Meshless is a really cutting-edge approach that could transform the engineering world. This approach could simplify the work of the engineer without generating a proper mesh that requires lot of effort. Keerthana Chandrasekar from ESTECO is going to deliver a presentation on “Solving fluid flow problems over complex 3D geometries using the RBF-FD Meshless Method and Algebraic Multigrid” on 1 June in the session IS06a - Fast scientific computing and numerical simulation for industry between 11:15 and 13:15. The project is an outcome of collaboration with M. Munerato, E. Nobile, R. Zamolo and D. Miotti (University of Trieste).
