The European Council on Computing in Construction takes place in Porto, Portugal, from July 7 to 17, 2025. The Summer School provides a platform for participants to gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the latest topics on computing and interact with world-renowned experts, researchers, and industry professionals. The Conference is the premier European Conference for information, communication and technological research, innovation and policy for the Construction Sector as a whole in Europe.

The 2025 EC3 Summer School Project focuses on achieving a sustainable future for the built environment. The competition challenges participants to explore how digital processes and technologies can help the construction industry reach Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
As a sponsor of this year's edition of the Summer School, a couple of sessions will be dedicated to modeFRONTIER on July 8. Alberto Clarich, Head of the Engineering Team, is going to introduce our technology and how DAIWA House Industry and Takenaka Corporation among other companies leverage it to design and optimize buildings. A practical session will follow, to give students the opportunity to dive into a hands-on session to find the best insulation parameters for an apartment.
The EC3 Conference is an annual meeting and has the purpose of bringing together researchers, practitioners and construction industry professionals from around Europe to meet and share information about the latest developments in all aspects related to computing in construction. It aspires to establish an active dialogue on the challenges in the field of Computing in Construction and provide a forum to present the latest advances in research and professional practice in this domain.
