CM3 - Transport 2023 is a conference on Design in Transport which is motivated by the urgency to address climate change, to design innovative solutions related to transport and energy using new digitalized optimization methods and tools. The event starts on 15 May and lasts until 17 May, 2023.

The first day will be mainly dedicated to the celebration of the 80th Jubilee of Jacques Périaux. In his honor our President, Carlo Poloni, is going to deliver a speech about the evolution of Design Optimization at ESTECO during the last 30 years, talking about his personal relationship with him and how he contributed in the project which led to the creation of our first software.

The engineering industry is constantly evolving, with new technologies and innovations shaping the way the world is designed and built. Alberto Clarich, Head of Engineering and Support team at ESTECO, will present two innovative methodologies for Design under Uncertainties. The first one based on Multi-fidelity Response Surfaces, which is particularly efficient to deal with large number of uncertainties. The second one based on Reduced Order Models, which can be used to evaluate the uncertainties propagation in a CFD field.
